Root CauseIE does not always go well with Ruckus device GUI in older ZD versions
WorkaroundTry using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome, If want to use Internet Explore 9 then add the Ruckus IP address in compatibility view settings in Internet Explore 9
Adding IP address of the unit is Compatibility View settings:
To disable compatibility view in Internet Explorer 9, complete the following steps:
- Open Internet Explorer 9.
- Click Tools (Alt+T) and you will see an option called Compatibility View Settings.
- Now add the IP address of the Ruckus unit and close.
- This should fix the issue.
ResolutionFix for Compatibility issue with IE9:
The Compatibility View issue with Internet Explore 9 has been fixed in 9.5 firmware and the browser is supported from this version.
Note: Before upgrading the unit to 9.5 please check the release notes of 9.5 and follow the upgrade path.
